One of the first of a growing number of Greek-style

standing at long tables. There are some good bar snacks,
including delicious stuffed mussels.

Mojo
The place hosts conservative trad rock groups performing

70s time warp sensation. The occasional blues act that turns
up is usually a little better. The live music starts at
midnight. 9p-4a
North Shield (Bar)
An English theme pub, complete with beer mats and dark
wooden bar—though surprisingly no British beer—this is the
spot for homesick ex-pats to drown their sorrows. There

North Shields pubs dotted all over town.
Besinci Kat (Bar)
Another nocturnal eyrie high above the city, the Besince
